The suite at Summerfields Rose Retreat And Spa was a dream come true for me! With its air-conditioning and roof fan, I felt completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay. The large bath sheets and bath gowns provided a touch of luxury, while the tea and coffee making facilities were perfect for my morning routine. The fridge was convenient for storing snacks and drinks, and the hairdryer ensured that my hair looked fabulous at all times. The electronic safe provided peace of mind, and the range of quality toiletries made me feel pampered. As a writer looking for inspiration and a break from city life, this open-plan suite was the ideal retreat for me.
Personally, I found the electronic safe a bit small for my belongings. However, others might still find it sufficient for their needs.

The game viewing was insane, like we were in a real-life Nat Geo documentary. The guides knew their stuff and we saw so many different animals, even the elusive leopard and the majestic lions. We even got to witness a lioness hunting her prey, it was wild! Definitely the ultimate safari experience for us thrill-seeking teens.
The only thing we would ask for is more late-night party options for us young, party-going people. Don't get us wrong, the spa and the peaceful surroundings were great, but a bit more excitement at night would have been awesome.

I recently stayed at a beautiful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and serene surroundings. The Forest Room I stayed in was a perfect blend of luxury and nature, with a cozy heated bed and a stunning deck overlooking the gardens. The spa treatments were absolutely wonderful, and the use of organic and fresh ingredients in the cuisine made every meal a delight. The peaceful walks through the Macadamia & Litchi farms were a true taste of the real Africa. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem.

The rooms had a breathtaking view and the location was perfect for relaxation in nature. The spa treatments were some of the best I’ve experienced. The staff was impeccable with their customer service.
The breakfast wasn't great, and there weren't many options. The communication with the hotel prior to arrival was lacking and could have been better.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The hotel facilities were amazing, with a pool overlooking a stunning waterfall and wooden pathways leading to each tent. Plus, the location right next to the river was breathtaking. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was delicious.
All was perfect.

Nestled down a path of beautiful flowers, you will find your idyllic escape next to the river. The luxurious tents are marvelously comfortable with amazing amenities. The outdoor bathtub and sound of the river create a perfect ambiance for relaxation. Service from the staff is exceptional as they go above and beyond to make each moment enjoyable. Breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of fresh, seasonal foods. Take advantage of the spa or gin bar which are both breath-taking, providing an unforgettable experience.
There are limited dining options on the property.

Luxurious and Romantic
We recently had the pleasure of indulging in a luxurious and romantic stay. The tent was beautifully furnished and the bath overlooking the river was a highlight. The staff were attentive and made our stay unforgettable. We appreciated that the food was mainly locally sourced and/or organic, which added to the authenticity of the experience. The location was perfect, surrounded by natural beauty, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
One small downside was that the wait service at dinner was lacking. However, it did not detract from the overall enjoyment of our stay.

This hotel is a luxurious hidden gem. The exclusive amenities and delicious meals exceeded my expectations. I indulged in a superb massage at the Spa and was thrilled with the stunning outdoor swimming pool, complete with sun loungers. The luscious garden area was a lovely place to relax.
I did have a minor issue with the quality of the breakfast food. However, this was only a tiny blip in an otherwise outstanding stay.

The dining area was exquisite and the food was delicious. The hotel also had a great MTB trail for running and a spa with amazing treatments. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay, from the security to the room service and reservation office. Thank you for the outstanding service.
